What My Astrology Chart Says About Me Being a Real Estate Agent
Recently, purely for fun, I took a deeper look at my astrology birth chart.
Now before anyone raises an eyebrow — this is not a “choose your Realtor based on the stars” situation (unless you want it to be, then by all means, I’ll indulge you). Real estate is built on experience, strategy, negotiation, and good old-fashioned hard work.
But I have to admit… when I looked at the placements in my chart, I laughed a little.
Because if the universe were trying to design someone who would end up in real estate — helping people navigate money, homes, and major life transitions — it might look something like my astrological chart.
And whether you believe in astrology or not, it actually reflects a lot about how I approach my work as a Realtor serving Puyallup, Bonney Lake, Sumner, Lake Tapps, and the surrounding Pierce County area.
So here’s the fun breakdown.
A Gemini Sun: The Communicator
My Sun and Moon are both in Gemini, which astrologically is associated with communication, curiosity, and adaptability.
In real estate, communication is everything.
Buying or selling a home involves contracts, negotiations, inspections, timelines, emotions, and sometimes a little chaos along the way. My job is to keep everything moving clearly and smoothly while making sure my clients always know what’s happening.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I:
• explain things clearly
• keep them informed at every step
• respond quickly
• and advocate for them when negotiations matter most
Gemini energy is naturally curious too — which works well when analyzing the market, researching properties, or finding creative solutions when something unexpected comes up.
Taurus Rising: Calm, Grounded, and Focused on Value
If Gemini brings the communication, Taurus Rising brings the steadiness.
Taurus is associated with homes, comfort, beauty, and long-term value — which feels incredibly fitting for a career in real estate.
It also reflects something I genuinely love about this work: helping people find a place that feels stable, peaceful, and truly their own.
This placement also makes me naturally drawn to things like:
• historic homes
• craftsmanship and architecture
• antiques and timeless design
• cozy coffee shops and charming neighborhoods
(If you’ve ever toured homes with me, there’s a good chance I’ve pointed out original trim work, vintage tile, or a beautiful old built-in.)
A Strong Second House: The Money & Investment Side
Several of my placements fall in the second house, which in astrology is connected to money, resources, and financial stability.
And when you think about it, real estate sits right at the center of that.
For most people, a home is the largest financial decision they’ll ever make.
So part of my role is helping clients understand:
• property value
• market trends
• long-term investment potential
• how to negotiate strategically
• and how to protect their financial interests
It’s not just about finding a house that looks pretty on Instagram — it’s about making a smart decision that supports someone’s life and future.
Mars in Cancer: The Protective Advocate
One placement that really resonates with how I work with clients is Mars in Cancer.
Mars represents action and drive, and Cancer is associated with home, family, and emotional security.
Put those together, and you get someone who is deeply motivated to protect people when it comes to their homes.
Real estate can be emotional. People are often navigating big life transitions — relocations, growing families, downsizing, or starting over.
I take that responsibility seriously.
My goal is always to make sure my clients feel:
• supported
• informed
• protected in negotiations
• and confident in the decisions they’re making.
Jupiter in the Fourth House: A Love of Home
Another placement I can’t ignore is Jupiter in my fourth house, which is traditionally the house of home and property.
Jupiter represents growth, opportunity, and expansion.
And honestly, I think this is why I genuinely love what I do.
Helping someone step into a new chapter of their life through homeownership is incredibly meaningful work.
It’s also why I tend to attract clients who are in big life transitions — people starting fresh, moving up, relocating, or redefining what “home” looks like for them.
The Human Side of Real Estate
Of course, astrology aside, what really matters is how someone shows up in their work.
For me, that looks like:
• thoughtful communication
• careful market analysis
• strong negotiation
• honest guidance
• and genuinely caring about my clients and their outcomes.
I also believe buying or selling a home should still feel exciting.
So sometimes our showings include:
• stopping for coffee afterward
• admiring a beautiful old Craftsman
• noticing original details in historic homes
• or talking about travel plans and life goals while driving between properties.
Real estate is about houses — but it’s really about people.
Thinking About Buying or Selling in Puyallup?
If you’re considering buying or selling in Puyallup, Bonney Lake, Sumner, Lake Tapps, or nearby Pierce County communities, I’d love to help.
Whether or not the stars had anything to do with it, I truly believe I ended up in the right career.
Helping people navigate one of the most important decisions of their lives is something I take seriously — and I’m grateful every time someone trusts me to be part of that journey.
And if nothing else, it’s fun to imagine that maybe it really was written in the stars.
